Minneapolis Photographic Society is the only Twin Cities club devoted exclusively to print photography. We are members of the Twin Cities Area Council of Camera Clubs. Through monthly photo competitions and programs, MPS members fine-tune their skills and enjoy fun and friendship with other photography enthusiasts.

NOTE: As of March 2020 all in-person meetings have been suspended until further notice due to the COVID-19 situation.

We have a new meeting location for fall of 2020. We are meeting at Mt. Zion Temple. The address is 1300 Summit Avenue in St. Paul.

General salon meetings are held September through May, followed by a final awards banquet in June where the “best-of-the-best” year end prizes are awarded. Our meetings are on the first Monday of the month (with slight variances for holidays), starting at 7:00pm and ending no later than 9:00pm. If competing in the salon, please arrive 15-30 minutes early to enter your image(s). Our meetings include an educational or entertaining program followed by the photo competition judged by an outside expert.

Visitors are welcome at our meetings, but please note that you must be a member to enter our competitions.
